Keyboard Shortcuts
Shortcuts are context-aware. Guided constraints are enabled by default — hold ⇧ during an active gesture to build freely.

Works in Select mode on the 3D canvas, the 2D floor plan, and the scene graph.

In the scene graph, Shift-click selects the visible range like a file browser.
Direct Manipulation
- ⌘Left click
Move the selected movable object under the cursor
Drag in Select mode. Guided snapping and guides are enabled by default.
- ⌘Right click
Rotate the selected object under the cursor
Drag left or right in Select mode. Rotation snaps to 15° increments by default.
- ⌘⇧Right click
Rotate freely
Hold Shift during the drag to bypass the 15° rotation increment.
Drawing Tools

Bypass guided snapping and angle constraints
Hold during the active gesture. Passive guide or measurement feedback may stay visible.

Rotate freely, bypassing the default 15° rotation snap
Hold while dragging a rotate handle or direct-rotation gesture.
Item Placement
- R
Rotate item clockwise, or toggle selected door open/closed
- T
Rotate item counter-clockwise, or close selected door

Temporarily bypass placement validation constraints
Hold while placing.
Camera
- WASD
Pan camera
Moves in screen space, similar to dragging the camera view.
- ←→↑↓
Pan the 2D floor plan
While the floor plan editor is open. Hold Shift for larger steps.
- Middle click
Pan camera
Drag with the middle mouse button, or hold Space while dragging with the left mouse button.
- Right click
Orbit camera
Drag with the right mouse button.
